It would appear Rolls Royce do not like anybody using that name in it's generic form, in order to describe anything Rolls Royce. They are abusing the Trade Mark Laws, and the UK courts in order to threaten any independent individual or company. They want people to pay them to be an approved Rolls Royce agent / dealer and become part of the Rolls Royce Club. Is this to extort money by threatening legal actions on anybody else who uses the name or the 'Flying Lady' logo?
There are a number of independent Rolls Royce specialists including those who were Rolls Royce employees and trained by them. The only people recommended on this site are those that are strong enough to stand up to these bullies. Only those who will use the descriptive term 'Rolls Royce' or images of 'Flying Lady' mascots that Rolls Royce do not own the copyright of, will be highly recommended. The use of manufacturers names & logos is an accepted wide spread practace, in fact, there are more independants than approved agents covering most makes and marks of motor vehicles.
